Why do I cough inside my house but not outside?

Been going on for weeks. I’m in my house and I just cough and cough but when I’m outside or somewhere with fresh air I don’t. Does this mean I have asbestos in the house or maybe allergies. If anybody can help me out that would be great.

Answer:

You have to know if this has been always happening or just started recently. If it just started recently you might want to check what was new in your house that makes you cough. In most cases dust mites could be a possible cause, If you are concern that there is an asbestos in your house best to do is visit your medical doctor and have a checkup for trace of mesothelium in your lungs. Asbestos cancer or mesothelioma is hard to deal with because the symptom will not show immediately, it takes 20-50 years from exposure before symptoms become noticeable.
