I’m 5’8 and 161 pounds. I’m 15 and I want to do high school gymnastics. Am I too tall or weigh too much to do so? What’s an ideal weight for gymnastics?

by the bmi scale, your almost overweight. it’s good to be tall for gymnastics, that’s a plus actually. but maybe you weigh this way because your body type/you have muscle. but i would suggest losing 20 pounds. you should be at 140-145 as the bmi says. Good luck!
