Hi I am about to go to new York for about 5 days and Ive been dieting for about a year and haven’t had any real sweets since but id like to know if I can splurge on sweets and extra carbs and not gain much weight since ill be walking a lot!

You should be fine to have some treats over the course of your trip. If you are doing a lot of walking around you will burn some of the calories. Its good to let your body have a break from time to time and not stick rigidly to a program.
