No! Hahahahahahaha! These special diets make me laugh. None of them are really any good for you and they are ridiculous! The only way to diet is to eat real food and watch how much you eat. All self will! (Which nobody seems to have these days anymore!) I strongly dislike diet fads and pills and whatever else kind of special “foods” that claim to make someone lose weight, even though the side effects can be terrible!!! But that’s just me I guess. I don’t have to worry, because I have strong self will power and am at perfect weight. Ha, that is my opinion! ( I get crazy talking about stuff like this! )

Best way for me to get fit and have a flat tummy?

Hi there, I always had a very fast metabolism. I used to be incredibly thin (like a size 6), so much so that strangers would ask me if I was ok. I always ate loads and never dieted or excercises. I weighed about 7 stone when I was 17. Recently (over the last 2 years) I have started to gain weight! I now weigh about 8st 8lbs which I am perfectly happy with (except for the stretchmarks… But can’t be helped). The only thing is that I used to love my flat tummy, but nowadays it is a bit wobbly and sticks out. I’d like to get it more flat and toned again! And I also want to get a bit fitter. I don’t know how to start- can anyone suggest any excercises for me? I walk 20mins minimum every day (not a huge achievement I know but I have to walk to work so it’s there, anyway.) I want to ease in gently with simple excercises, as I am very unfit and get out of breath quickly. I also have quite bad posture, so excercises that work my back too make me click unpleasantly all over the place (I should see an osteopath, but no money at the moment.) I need exercises that are safe for my back. Diet wise, I am eating pasta, crackers, beans, bread, lots of fruit, cereal bars, etc. my choices are limited as I only have a microwave and tablet hob to cook with. Any healthier options? I don’t know much about healthy foods either. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi! I’m very thin and very fit, not meaning to be a bragger, as I’m in training for the Olympics. One of the best exercises is to run, start by jogging 2 hours a day then after a week, start running. Another exercise to help you is to do many push-ups and sit-ups,. 10 push-ups a day is recommended and 10 sit ups as well. Avoid carbohydrates and eat protein! As well as fruits and vegetables are good, protein can help you have a flat tummy! This process lasts about 2 months. P.S. Do not starve yourself! It is VERY bad for your health and well-being! Stick to the Dukan Diet for a 2 month plan or Exercise a lot! -RiRi

Do you think this is a good diet plan to lose weight?

I usually have oatmeal or a dukan diet pancake for breakfast (200 cals or less), a fiber bar and milk for lunch (240 cals), nonfat greek yogurt after school (140 cals) and then either light soup or chicken breast for dinner with fresh fruit or vegetables as a snack.

Sounds like your eating 1000 calories or less a day. Try having a bit more for breakfast other than that, it looks good.

Needing to lose 10 pounds by the end of this month?

I weigh 132 pounds and height 5’7. From last week to now I have been eating an apple a day [100 calories]. lost 4 pounds. From tomorrow; Breakfast: 1 cup of soup Lunch: An orange Dinner: 1 cup of soup How long until I lose 10 pounds? No lectures please 🙂 and i will be picking best answer soo 🙂

Not a lecture but advice, do not stay on that “diet” long, it will ruin your thyroid and you will can have weight (and a mass of other) issues later in life (That happened to my aunt) Also,when you do start to eat normal again, you will gain more back because your body will be in survival mode from be starved and hoard what you eat. I just saw on Dr. Oz yesterday the “Dukan” diet. First 7-10 days, ONLY eat proteins, 1.5 TBLspn of oat bran (high in fiber, not carbs) and nonfat dairy products, DAILY. The people who followed this exactly were losing a pound a day, what your losing and that’s alot more food than you’re getting now with better nutritional value. Please add a multivitamin to your regimen, preferably 2 times a day. Good Luck to you!!

depression on low-carb diet?

this is only the 4th day iv been on the low carb diet, and iv started to get very bad headaches, feeling panicky, and feeling really down all the time; especially today. I keep crying for no reason at all and i feel REALLY depressed. Anyway my mum said it was probably the diet, so i googled it and it says that lots of people do get things like this on the diet (when their carb intake is under 40g) Well… iv only had 3g today. I know thats a bit too far, but im just sick of my weight, and il stop rambling now because im in a **** enough mood as it is. Anyone gone through anything similar or knows what to do? 🙁 cheers xx

I’ve been a low carber for about 8 yrs now and it sounds as htough your body is kicking out all the toxins and carbs as well as sugar and other stimulants you have been used to on a carb diet. 3 grams is VERY low – you need to seriously UP your carb intake to 20grams in the form of green leafy veg or salad as well as increase your intake of pure fat to get you into ketosis…. if you start to feel panicky and depressed go for a fast walk around the block – it’ll clear your head and get you moving too….activity is really important,….but get the book and follow it exactly. If you dont consume enough of the right carbs in induction your body will react like this……good luck and stick with it if you can – if you cant – try the dukan diet

How can I lose 30 pounds in 2 months?

I’m 17, 5’4, and weigh 133 pounds. I want to lose around 30 pounds or so quickly so I can look better. I mostly want to lose the weight off my legs and butt, but I do NOT want to get more muscle on my legs. Ii want to lose BOTH fat AND muscle, so I was wondering how I can do this (Mostly legs).

Can I use wheat bran instead of oat bran in the dukan diet?

Answer:

You can replace oat bran with dietary fiber that is sold in pills, “gummy candies”, powder drinks… the whole purpose of oat bran is to “push” food out of you. Protein will stay in your body otherwise and in time it will turn into toxins. so for regular bowel movement you eat fiber… Wheat bran specifically is probably not a good idea due to the higher starch and thus carb content. Good luck on your diet!
